Report of the 2007 Medicines Australia member economic survey

The Medicines Australia 2007 industry economic survey provides information on the economic activities of the innovative pharmaceuticals industry in Australia from data provided by Medicines Australia member companies.

The report offers an overview of the current state of the innovative pharmaceutical industry in Australia, its evolution over time and the factors influencing its development.  The survey covers the calendar years 2005 and 2006, in line with the majority of member company financial reporting arrangements.

It was launched by Senator Kim Carr, Minister for Innovation, Industry, Science and Research at AusPharma 08, Medicines Australia’s member conference on 8 April 2008.
